Does the gt fan blow or suck?

looks like my fan has packed in so i was going to order a spal one. do i need a blower or a sucker if im mounting it on the engine side of the rad?

Agree on the polarity change, but the fan will not work at its full potential.
The fan itself will need swapped around to work at its best, then the polarity will need looked at to which direction is required.

u need a sucker, but a polarity change usually results in a direction change

just bought me a slimline fan for my td04 kit (already had civic rad)

anyway, im presuming to swap the polarity round, just switch the 2 wires round - or is it bit more complex?

The blades will be rotating the wrong way mate.

yeah i bought a spal second hand, turned out to be a blower... fitted it on the front of the rad instead... worked out better as it gives me loads more room in the engine bay :)

it should have a rotation arrow on it and lookin at the blades it should give an indication.

Unless its one of the ebay super dooper push/pull fans?

compare it to the standard fan if the blades are in the same direction then its a suck if not its a blow,

i cant remember of hand which way is which on the blades
