Dumpvalve .. dumping oil

Hi ..
I'm currently doing a 4efte swap into my G6 corolla. The glanza engine I got is known to me. The last time this engine was running it was spitting oil out the dumpvalve and I remember the turbo and dumpvalve being changed and the problem continued.
Engine was removed after this.. anyone any idea what could've been causing the issue?
Cheers

Depends on the breather setup, but it is normally the turbo. If the turbo at fault was replaced with another old used unit, chances are it's just the same issue with that one too.

Yea with the age of these parts you could be just swapping bad for bad or worse Bud without knowing for sure the condition of the "new part" is in
Was there any codes or any other symptoms ?

It suggests excessive crankcase pressure which can be a number of things on the 4E.

A cylinder leakage test could be done on the stand to rule out valve stem and ringland issues.

Cheers for all the replies lads. The lad I have on the job is getting the head done and inspecting the rest when split. Going to replace whatever needs doing
