DVLA discrepancy...

Ok so if i say 2 seater like its stated on the MOT then they will send me a new V5 to resend back to them??

And if i say 5 seater, then i will just need a retest??

looks like thats what there up2, i'd imagine if you say 2 seater, they will just send you a new V5 with it stated as a 2 seater, which aint good if you ever wanna sell it, will cause the next fella hassle lol

So if i say its 5 seater as had the rears out for some interior work and they are back in now, like you say, then i will just need a retest which i was planning on doing anyway as its had alot of work done to it and want to make sure everything is safe....

yup, would appear thats what they will be after, if you fone them, you'll be on hold for hours aswell haha

:)If you have all your paperwork up to date, there is no reason why you cant go to the post office and get the tax done manually. They dont have access to the DVLA computers so nothing will flag up.

Get the tax done as normal, then when your MOT comes round again, make sure that your seats are in (or make sure the garage puts the proper notes through to the DVLA etc) then you wont have the problem again.
