Steering column shortened

Chassis getting stitch welded and a few unnecessary brackets removed.

There are a few more bars to go in which will total about 5-6KG but this is the weight of the shell at the moment

nice project there can you pls give me the measurements to the top strut supension holes from centre to centre of the 3 holes and th big hole diameter in cm if ya dont mind?

Shell's final weight with extra bars, seat and mounts

Getting loaded to get the shell acid dipped.

It should be back on the 22nd May from the dippers and in primer.

Awesome project. Im keeping an eye on this, love the workmanship thats gone into it. Epic stuff. Looking forward to seeing it back from the acid dip

Got the car back home on sunday morning.

The shell is now 9.5KG's lighter than before the dipping. We are taking into it this week and starting the build, i can see her doing the first few events in primer as i dont think it will have time to get it to the body shop.
