Hi guys my engine light came on today whilst driving to work. I let it warm up for five mins on idle the drove another few mins before booting it a few times. I only just set up the actuator yesterday and hit fuel cut 3 times making whilst afjusting it. Now running at 0.8 bar on hybrid meshed turbo with FMIC, decat, standard mani. There has been no loss of power either and no additional noises that wernt already there. Any ideas? I know it needs a flash tool to connect to diagnostic port which, may i say, is a wank idea. Should just have an OBD port but suppose its a bit old for that. Car is a 1995 GT. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Josh

also have you got the adequate fuelling mods needed to raise boost? if your hitting fuel cut i would lower the boost down as it can cause damage if hit too many times

I was under the impression that it can be run up to 0.8 bar on standard fuelling. Any higher and the requirement for additional fuelling would come in. Or so i have been told. Thanks for the link. Il flash it when i go to lunch

To be honest you could be right but i think thats for a standard ct9 and not a hybrid, even then you should have it checked as raising boost and not checking afr's is a guessing game. I ran a hybrid on mine at 0.8 bar and had to adjust fuelling so i would say yours woulf be the same

Will be fine below fuel cut, no matter what turbo, in theory you could run a gt35 on the stock ecu providing its below fuel cut.
Just disconnect the battery for 10 mins or so to reset the ecu, should clear any fault codes that have been stored.

Be carefull, holes in pistons arent fun.neither are broken ringlands,as above, hitting fuel cut just once is a sign of something.take that warning and up ure fueling for gods sake.lol

yes under fuel cut you will be fine but considering you keep hitting cut i would either lower the boost or get fuelling mods. my hybrid at 0.8bar hit fuel cut so got myself a rrfpr and a fcd and went on the rollers. to be honest its not the best way to do it but if your tight for money its the cheapest way to be safe. if you have some decent funds try and get something like an emange blue or blitz access ecu etc also be careful with the hybrids as they love boost creep
