Hi members.

I was wondering how the 4EFTE reacts to these CRs?

Standard will be 8.2:1+- and if you use -10cc wiseco/whatever piston then you will be
at around 7.3:1 to 7.7:1 depending on head chamber cc.

The lower CR will give you a better knock threshold but do you need a better knock threshold on a 4EFTE?

Is the car sluggish of boost with a CR of 7.3:1?

Detailed pros and cons please :)

Car will be super sluggish with a CR of 7.3:1, it all depends on the fuel your using as well. I think for most peoples use around stock maybe a little lower is perfect.

Jet fighter... atom bomb...
Hahahahahahaha! You guys know how to entertain :D
95 BP with CR of 7.7:1?

Depends on what boost, management and power your going for.
Spuddy still runs around the stock compression ratio at 500bhp, although he's on meth.

mine is around 7.5.1 but its 5e, i dont have any issues with off boost driving, but i do have alot of torque and pretty responsive boost at low rpm

250-300hp might be less due to 6000ft altitude :(
stand alone with a good tune, 1.8bar or there about but not with pump gas
daily drive 1bar pump gas

Will 7.3:1 be the lowest practical CR?
For normal urban driving also.
And what will be the +- effect of turbo spoolup time? 7.3:1 and 8.2:1 with a CT9 and TD04?
