do any of you ignorant gt owners know that the glanza has infact a slightly better turbo to compensate for its additional weight?:teach:
It has an extra blade and its code is ct9b if im not mistaken?correct me if im wrong someone

Looks are down to a preference as has been said, i have owned both and i like both!!
Quad light ep82s are very nice
, but i really like the 98 glanzas hence why i bought one.Not too fond of the earlier glanzas though.

Nah, we all know about the good old CT9B. The only reason they made the B is because the A was dangerous.......

I was joking mate, apparently the CT9B is "better" due to the additional blade. Like, you hear of some people putting a B on a GT for that reason. I don't know much about either as I have a hybrid CT9A.

As car models get improved over the years manufacturers add more components to make the cars safer but in addition weight is increased so like the starlet - Glanza they add strength and safety giving more weight then give it a slightly different turbo and gearing to try and compensate this and keeping it as fast as the GT in effect.
A comment I've just read says in the video both drivers are proffessional! why does this matter? each driver will have different styles of driving tracks, if it was to be a fair contest then they should have run it twice and swapped cars! this would illiminate the overtake being deamed as this car is better than that car!
Oh and who cares if the ct9b is better than the ct9a nearly everyone one this site is looking to improve their car by either changing the turbo for a bigger one or getting the original hybridised to improve that! its all about power to weight ratio and gearing.
Just agree starlets rule whether its EP91 or Ep82 lol.... Still miss my evo!
