Ex-Toy Tuning Demo Car #2 RR Result

On Friday I took the demo car down to Alan Jeffery / Engine Tuner in Plymouth, Devon to get it remapped on 97 ron BP Ultimate fuel as it had previously been road mapped on Shell V-Power and I don't have any Shell garages local to me. :(

Was also able to get some power graphs so thought I'd post them up.

Some of the engine spec:

Wiseco 74.5mm 10cc dished forged pistons
SCAT rods and ARP bolts
Fully balanced crack and pulley assembly
Fully reconditioned stock head
1.2mm ZEP Racing metal head gasket
Toy Tuning CT9 Hybrid turbo
Toy Tuning mild steel CT9 manifold
Blitz downpipe
Custom 2.5inch front exit exhaust
Autobahn 88 front mount intercooler with hot side piping modified
Magnecor 8.5mm red leads
NGK iridium plugs
SARD thermostat
Haste Engineering 2.5inch 3 core aluminium radiator
1.3bar radiator cap
Apexi open air filter relocated behind front bumper
ORC uprated clutch and flywheel kit
Uprated fuel pump
SARD 330cc injectors
SARD fuel pressure regulator
GReddy e-Manage Ultimate
GReddy PRofec B boost controller @ 1.3 bar of boost

At the fly - 218.1 bhp, 204 ft lb peak torque @ 4400 rpm

Considering the fuel, I am very happy with the result and it feels much nicer now since the remap.

sx_turbo - it says at the top mate! :p Can't get V-Power around here so had to make do with BP Ultimate, not sure how much of a difference this would have made though!

ah i thought it was some sort of majour problem lol

i cant imagine it making much more lol

I cant imagine that makes any difference at all tbh.

If that boost plit is acurrate, then that is one hell of a result! under 1.2 bar where it makes the peak power and 218hp?! that is a great result, im tempted to use a hybrid on my gt when its done now :)

ChrisW - indeed, nippy street car. :) I love the quick spool.

GTwayne - yeah, we got there about 12:15pm, bit late as I was booked for 12pm! (my bad, major rush in the morning).

steveep82 - pity you couldn't stick around to see the final run but very happy with the result too. :)

TurboDave - yeah, congrats on your result. Your turbo seems to pull a bit harder than this one and produce the power earlier. Well done. :)

montanajr - haha, indeed! I should have also perhaps listed the Toy Tuning reservoir covers as well, they are my secret up my sleeve. :p No swaps though. :(

Also, forgot to mention, apologies to Engine Tuner for the Bee*R Rev Limiter going off while the car was on the dyno, scared the crap out of me! Hope the front exit didn't make too much mess, but I blame Steve for that one! ;)

Nice job Peen, good result for .2 of a bar increase you managed a further 18bhp and around 13 lb/ft of torque with 1.2 bar compared to our 1.0 bar. Get some pictures up buddy, also the feature was out this month! :)
