Exedy Paddle Clutch

the paddle clutch is very good, not a great deal different to stock but is obviously different.

i think mine is great.

the problem is though exedy have run out until the 31st of august, which kinda buggers every body up.

i can offer a helix autosport clutch but it is dearer than the exedy unit, but it is a stronger clutch

Hey guys,

Are many members using this cluth? How are they for daily use, bareable? I'm not expecting them to be completely comfortable, but are they silly harsh or what?

Are they good to launch with?

I'm looking at this one from Camskill

I wanna do it right this time, I've bought a Cap and just had it fitted but it's not up for the job!

Iddy remember when you took my car for a quick spin, well iv got a exedy cerametallic fitted in it, it can be harsh sometimes but after a few days driving i got used to it.

price excluding the bearing is £365.99 inc vat

as i said i know this is dearer, it's just at the moment i dont get a great discount from helix yet as i havnt bought enough from them.

your current release bearing is brand new isnt it?

i had one in my last starlet and its like everyone else has said they are stiffer but not too bad. mine only annoyed me a couple of times when i was in bad traffic crawling around slowly.

Bugger. I just emailed Camskill now but oh well, got my answer.

I wanted to go QTM on the 1st of August! This is a let down. I'll see what Ricky has. :)

i can only sort you out with a helix clutch mate, which is more expensive than the exedy clutch, but then it's also stronger.

the other thing to add that although the helix is more expensive than exedy, it's also a lot cheaper than the other options from japan, i suppose it depends on how desperate you are.

So whats the best recommended clutch for around 200brake! Comfortable to use on a daily driver! Maybe a Exedy Organic is it?

an organic type clutch would be perfect mart.

i can do a helix organic plate for about £285 delivered.

exedy are currently out of stock of the clutch covers until the end of august.
