Fitting lowering springs

Just bloody done it cuz! wont be doing that again, the front were easy as the top nuts had grease around them, the rear top nuts werea total bas*ard to get off!! took me hour each to get the nut off to free the top mounts! Alot swearing and beating it with a hammer it came off!!

Ammy donts like it, the ride feels more harsh on these crapy road! but i took it around a bend it fell smooth and grippy. lol havent really checked the full potential of it yet! I have Pi not G-max :)

ive got Pi on my ep91. i find them a bit too low and bouncy rather than harsh. the fronts tend to bottom out quite easily too and hi the bupstops.

my uk ep91 sits pretty low and i see no reason to fit a panhard rod. its not noticeably out at the rear.
i also noticed when i lowered my GT it was hardly out, if at all. already had a panhard rod ready to fit anyway so fitted it, but im not convinced it was necessary for alignment

cheers mate rep, so you thinkl its ok to lower on springs and then do alignment and it'll be ok? whats the panhard rod meant to do ? - rep

it aligns the rear of the car. if you look at the way the rear suspension is setup as the car goes down at the back the whole rear axle section moves over to one side. obviously if your starting point is lower to start with then it will be out slightly when sitting normally.

just try lowering it and getting it aligned. have a look at the rear and see if its out, or if you have trouble with the wheels catching one side then a panhard rod can help.

panhard rod keeps your rear axle in the centre..

So its not always nessacary (sp) to get a panhard rod and can differ from car to car? i guess i'll have to have a look into it and maybe get a panhard rod... how much are they?

-Rep to both. of you

about £100 i think.

varies between cars and tbh honest as long as it looks fine at the back and doenst rub on one side over bumps i wouldnt worry about it

Th ecar does feel abit bouncy, but i expect this from old shocks! Looks nice when lowered.
Got issue, my rear seems to be sqeaking, think its coming from the top mounts, where the rubber and springs meet. any suggestion how to solve this? quite annoying!

i believe the whiteline is the cheapest. i dont rate it myself as it keeps coming loose.
if you can find one, get the RSR one.
