Forum is quiet... Or is it?

Howdy peeps.

Been thinking the forum has been quiet recently. Maybe its something to do with xmas comming up. Then i looked at the bottom of the main screen...

People online: 27 members 191 guests!!!!!

Rekon there would be a lot more happening if those 191 people signed up.
Can you still see everything if you are just a guest or what?

Site traffic has definitely altered over the last 12 months, no doubting that but when I look back to the chaos of TGTT's heyday I'm quite comfortable with this. Used to be nigh on impossible to moderate the site whilst also using and enjoying it. Far less bitching nowadays lol.

People are using social networking more and more so that usually keeps the mainstream banter in the mainstream. Also less Starlets equals less Starletheads so we'll soon see who the diehards are. :haha:

You do look quite comfortable I must say lol. They are a dying breed for sure good in some ways I suppose but as for the forum zzzzzZZZZ compared to what it used to be lol. See the views the members garage gets though its madness

Plenty of peeps viewing but only a small percentage post. Goes to show we must have covered quite a lot of questions in the past!

im on here 24/7 :) but havnt realy been here that long in comparison to most of you guys so havnt noticed the decrease in forum activity, noticed the huge drop in starlets for sale though, sept 2010when i was looking for mine there were 60 odd on piston heads and there were new ones daily, and about 50/50 as far as ep82/ ep91 but now theres like less than 30 and only 5-7 GTs on there :S

People have learnt to search and like you say almost everything has been covered, now i just come on read and learn.

I've only just joined so cant comment on whether activity has dropped.. but i'm currently looking for my first glanza so I'm almost part of the "club" lol. Do you guys attend japfest etc?

i personaly do, TGTT dont have a stand there but UKSC do and some of the guys from here are also on there mate :)

yea i used to visit the site for 6 months before coming a regestered user, i was on the look out for parts to get my car sorted.since then ive been on offering advice where i can and purchasing and selling, and basicly all i know about glanzas and gts ive learnt from here so heres to all you guys that have been here to offer that helping hand

Been the same on UKSC for the last few years everytime xmas comes up i think everyone darent come on the forums incase they end up spending money they dont want to spend on cars bits lol

great site for the niggly questions that need answered but since the site changed (summer 2010) i cant find the stuff i want anymore, used to be one keyword and BOOM, everthing you needed to know, now uve to search through loads of new threads to find the one needed...
