i had that problem before too. i changed plugs and oil and gave it a general service. i also got the timing adjusted too. now i can get €10 petrol which is 7 litres or 1.5 uk gallons and it fills it just over a quarter and so far i've done 32 miles and its only just under the quarter line so i reckon i can get another 40 or 50 miles out of it. so 80 miles for a gallon and a half aint bad
