    sooo this may sound random......
came across a skateboard wheel bearing in the Sons room last night an i could swear I've seen posts about people fitting them to the cable end to replace the normally knackered rubber one. Can't find any posts now bloody typical lol
can anybody confirm this ? Can someone measure the stud and the gearbag cable end if they have one handy cough cough Jay ;)

    ID Workz Sell thenm £20...

Expensive, but I had to modify the cables to get them to fit.

Tuning Developments do a replacement bush which look a million times better.

i just got a couple of bearings and washers from work for free and did mine. worked fine. a bit of an arse to install in position, but not too bad.

I can confirm after today that they will fit, just need a wee tap tap tap to get it into the cable and, g-clamp would be perfect to press it in
There is a difference in width tho compared to the factory Bush but a few large washers should sort it :D

I have done that since a while. Fit and forget.
