Gearbox Oil

Asked this question over on ukso and have been told to use 75W90 oil and that either redline MT-90 or millers crx are top quality oils to use.

Anyway the question was obviously which oil to use in a GT box but also how many litres are needed? It's a bit indecisive between 2 and 3 so I don't want to order 2 and be halfway though changing to a manual box then need another litre but I also don't want to order 3 litres if I don't need them because it's 15 quid a pop.

i always get a bit extra so i can flush a little fresh stuff through before refitting the drain bung. 3 litres will be your best bet mate!

Around 2.2 litres in a GT gearbox give or take. Best to buy 3 litres in case of spillage or leakage.

75~90W should be fine for most applications, only if you are using an aftermarket LSD is something more specialized required.
