get the jdm one in white with the white wheels mate, you won't see one of them every day plus lsd and 220 brake !!! i always wanted the jdm one but i paid 9k for a 55 plate uk car in grey with 22k on the clock fhsh etc etc and for a jdm one was looking around 10k for a 51 - 52 plate !
Nah I was thinking of buying a EP3 and respraying it white on white. :D

that would be a much better/cheaper way of doing it. the uk car is quick enough anyway with almost 200 brake. the lsd on the jdm one would be very useful though, traction was wank in the ep3

I'd be more than happy enough with the UK Spec power to start off with. Also that reminds me, I just bought a Glanza LSD gearbox for my car on the weekend! I don't think that'll be getting fitted now though!

No point with the NA power really. And yeah it's a shame I couldn't even make use of that BOV. :(

sorry mate, i wasn't trying to make you feel worse. i think the wheels look sweet aswell mate, thanks again for those. i think you should just stick with your starlet for a bit mate, i think it looks mint in the flesh dude and look how much blood, sweat, tears and £££ have gone into it ! it's upto you though at the end of the day mate. how come you sacked the conversion in the end anyway ? or should i not mention that right now ?

you've had your fun with the na starlet, and sweet as it is, i think you should try a gt turbo :) with shocks/springs or at worst some tein superstreets nothing harsh, and about 180brake. just spend some time hunting down the rattles and fixing them. its worth it! lol

i know ive hunted down many a rattle or squeek! lol

the joy of tuning a motor!

We're having too much trouble/shit luck with my bros car, so I just decided against the conversion.

If I had another Starlet, I couldn't get one that doesn't look as nice as this! It would have to look better.

Why not pay someone to turbo your car and sort out all the problems?
Wheres the advantage in that? It will be the same thing as doing it myself really. The only thing I need to pay for is some proper coilover adjustment I think.

If you that fed up, get a nice VTI or something.

Just relax for a few years and keep away from major modifications until you can afford something else.

You should try owning a modified metro for a while and i promise you would never complain about the reliability of a toyota (or new vw ;) ) ever again.

Its all part of the fun of modifying

I think mine will be gone at the end of summer, next will be a Glanza or a Type R. Not too sure on a normal VTI, they're too popular. Would have to be a White EP3 (insurance is a killer) or maybe even an EK9, but then you've got one of those. I wonder what insurance is like on them.

Just to add, ive had audi a3, vw golf and fav the seat leon. IMO i think my leon was more reliable car i ever had, it was a fun car with a remap, didnt have any serious trouble just the minor thing, if you dont have access to a diag software, you would be lost if engine light came up. but every sports car has their own forum to give advice and support.

when cars are standard there reliable.

when u start playing with them, they become unreliable for a long time, and then when there done there done.

Yeah your right. I'm gonna sell the brakes cos I haven't the time or patience to fit them properly, and I think I'll sell the coilovers cos I don't like the ride. Then break the whole thing after my exams or something.
