yehh im sure we all do ignor those idiots bt when its geting the rest of us more attension by the police n give the cars them selfs a bad name, when we all know there fantastic haha n that makes me feel sorry for the car =(.. i hear its pain being called "the new saxo"

Like I said, if you behave yourself when driving and don't drive round like an idiot, have it all taxed and insured properly then you haven't got a thing to worry about if the police stop you. I have had the police follow and stare at my car when i first got it in my area now they don't look twice at it.

Technically I haven't been pulled but I once pulled out of my mates back street (weheey!) after just getting in the car and an unmarked Renault Megane Scenic flew round the corner, blocked me in and 3 large blokes jumped out. Asked me what I was doing, and until i saw the police vest I thought I was getting car jacked, I had one hand on the extendable wheel brace behind the passenger seat then quickly put it back!. I just said "I have come from my mates house just down there" He said no problem mate, it's just there are reports of people parking up down the side street doing drug deals. He didn't even search the car or ask to see my licence. It's not even a bad area, just a long road that leads to a farm so its secluded.

you have no idea how popular they are in my area again me and mark counted 15 recently and thats just cars we know there is at least 30 going around the city lol :mad::mad::mad:

There are probably more over here than in Japan now. I have heard they have a bad reputation in Ireland.

ya they do alright if i didnt have so much money invested in it now i would definitely sell up ,
but im sticking by it now hopefully its only a phase :p:p

aye! Serious amount in cork! All the ones ive met have been sound so far..think were lucky. Havnt seen any chavved out yet or driven by scum..so im ok with it to a point! Anyway tbf Popsy yours doesnt look like any others ive seen;)

Think i may have to see about getting a m3 GT :) if i can get 1 and transfer all of my mods over that would be grand as long as i can get 1 before i sell the G wagon.

Tbh dude everything with a loud exhaust and alloy wheels is a boy racer car to people who are not into cars weather its an Evo Scooby GT turbo etc its just the way it is.

Yea i know mate i was thinking more today and there is really no car people wont see boy racer-ish that people like us would get.

Im gona stay with a starlet weather its a GT or keep the G and just make it a hell lot better than the shitters around my way :)

all cars like that go that way. the fact that GTs and glanzas are alot more expensive than the equivalent saxo or 106 helps, but they are still a bit too popular for my liking :(

when a hot hatch gets to a point where its cheap enough for chav types to insure and buy then they get popular. they crash them and fuck them up and the insurance and buying cost of them goes up. then they become rare again.

i never really see any about my area tbh.
