True, but if your going to splash out on a hybrid and all the componants to run it, might as well fork out some extra for proper fuel management.

imho on a hyrbid anything over a jam ecu// fcd rrpfp are a waste of money.. we did a 12.8et a few years back with no management on a hybrid.. just with a rrfpr & fcd..

its not ideal, but for a hybrid is more than enough ;)

i would also say this bud its over looked a lot now days. rember ybys td04 auto with just a rrfpr and fcd :)

got emanage blue as a backup, but am deffo gonna see what she can do on the existing setup, then after fit the blue and see what difference it makes :)

yeah man thats what im on about! the good old starlet tuning days when there was feck all on the market & we had to make due with what we had...

finy thing is now adays there seem to be alot more engine related problems than back then... even though there are more parts...

kinda makes u think doesnt it? ;)

i was thinking this the other day too mate . there was not as many engine probs back then . only prob once u get to far is bore wash but u can sort that out with a safc :)

yeah deffo well happy, hopefully get a safc on soon to sort out the possible bore wash problem. And to stop costin a feckin fortune on fuel even when cruisin lol.
@mikest205, i know what you mean about the torque comin in late, but it is because there is the dip in the torque which, when we have a bit of time to set up, should take away that dip. but even at that it still has over 170 lb/ft at 4k, which i'm happy enough with lol.
