I would arrive at the police station with a solicitor. I would make a formal complaint and demand an apology form the person in question. I would also call any local radio stations and notify them of the complaint you have made and what it was in connection with.
With some luck they will run the story and the chances of your mate ever getting pulled by this moron again will be greatly reduced... as it stands now he obviously thinks your mate is afraid of him.

How the hell do you get charged for careless driving when braking at a Junction? ... I would've laughed in his face.

i know man sadly my mate doesnt have the balls for that kind of thing as much as me or you. he has filed a complaint though. personally if it had been me i would have lost it and attacked him on the spot. i would now be sharing a cell with a 17stone guy called sarah lol

thats absolute crap mate! Shame he didnt just argue it at the time, video evidence etc etc and got let off. Its a bit too late now and the problem is if it goes to court he will end up with a criminal record, if he just got a fine its probably best to let it go. At the end of the day, turning up with a solicitor and threatening this guy will only make matters worse, hes obviously just a massive cunt and look how many people in the world think that about him, and therefore how shit it would be to be that guy. No harm done.

And also, all police arent bad, every time bar 1 when ive been pulled over theyve been pretty amiable, they just dont like people who deny everything and mouth of. I got let off for 50 in a 30, i just said no excuses my speed just crept up and i wasnt paying attention. I didnt even get a producer. But equally, my mate got done the other day and they threatened to take his car away if they saw him that night, all for having his numberplate in the window not on the bumper. At the end of the day its the kind of people that the police force attract as recruits, people who have probably been bullied there whole life and want to get back at the world.
