Hate day drunk/pissed people!!

As someone who works in a pub, I'm no stranger to drunks, although we're lucky they rarely cause trouble.
We've had to bar various people for being anti-social, and sometimes you get the goon that stares vacantly whilst failing to take in he can't buy pork scratchings 15mins after we've cashed up...
Only time there's been trouble whilst I was in it was actually the sober but deranged estranged wife of one of the custommers! she just walked in, screamed abuse at him and his new bit of skirt and then started smashing their glasses accross the table. The regulars were very good though - several of them stepped up to help escort them to the door and keep them there till the fuzz turned up, so there are still plenty of good guys out there...

I know how you feel Shelly. I work at a takeaway some nights, but its night so we bully customers like that until they leave. I suppose its different if your working in the day, but as Dub has said you should make them some special dish which will keep them on the toilet the next day! Haha!

Yep, after many long years of bar work I can agree there. One of the least appreciated jobs ever and I'm glad to put it behind me.
You can be the friendliest, greatest gentleman to serve behind a bar this turn of the century. The moment you refuse someone alcohol you are branded the fucking antichrist.
Pretty sure it's in the contract somewhere.

i work in my bros take away and we get piss heads all day long!!! coz our family are well known and are well off but my dad kept the taekway as its how he started back in the day so its sentimental................anyway when drunks come in im the polite one, i just be nice regardless but when my brother comes along he doesnt have any of it, hes sick of it, he threatens em, swears at em, off to knock em out but then they dont come back again!!!!! LOL

Trust me, it ticks me off sometimes too, but what can u do hey, family business and everyone is just here to earn. U just got to take it i guess.
Like tonight this woman comes in orders a £5 meal, she wanted to pay on card, but we dont accept cards, she went off on one, telling me i look and sound really pathetic right now cos i said we dont take them as there are two cash points right next door, she was moaning like cash don't excist anymore and we live in the world of plastic cards now. I soooooooooooooo wanted to say something, but hey... let it pass.
