am after suggestions for a decent headgasket, capable of 300+

currently have an athena ready to fit but read a few too many stories of not sealing properly so not too keen on using it.

have had good results with the stock toyota item too.

any other suggestions as what to use? thinking about 1.2mm depth

Cruise full boost or Zep Racing for peace of mind, they are tried and tested at very high power levels and boost pressures. I have seen the stock Toyota headgasket do really really well too. Just curious to know what kinda C/R are you aiming for Dub?..

the athena's are very good, sold a few used a couple not had any issues, the people who have issues i dont believe were fitted properly, when fitting make sure both surfaces are super clean, perfectly flat, and when you fit the head just make sure the rivets that hold the steel layers together dont interfere with the head, if they do remove the rivets,

We've had no issues with the Athena gaskets either, they work well in our opinion :)

I had a Cruise gasket fail on me, not the best £200 I ever spent. With the ARP 4E head bolts an Athena gasket should hold ok, and 300 is not giving it to much stick.

To me its more about how its fixed down rather than the make.

Deffo athena, we use them in 99% of builds and the only one that we really retail as their is such a wide range of thickness's and are readily available.
