hi
i have a problem with this set up
1/after starting the car when cold or hot..it itdles a 13 afr and the engine ligh comes and the engines stops...
2/after this warning light issue the engine ratles and have no power

i need to wait until the jam ecu forgot the error code

what do you think??

-what is the correct psi or bar for the fuel pressure to start?
-car overfueling?
-jam ecu is not working correctly?
-walhbro pump has changed the then quantity of fuel in the fuelrail?

your opinions please..:drive:

JAM ecu's are set up for stock fuel pressure so the fuel pump and FPR are not required. I'd revert those parts to stock and see if it cures your issues mate.

recently i installed a JAM ECU and i'm facing the same problems. i also have a WALBRO fuel pump. Wideband showed very rich mixture 11-13. i'm thinking of swaping back to the stock fuel pump. have you tried that yet & did it cure the problem?

i'm running stock CT9, AutoBahn 88 FMIC, JAM manifold, JAM ECU (racing, not street spec), WALBRO fuel pump, 2.5" exaust (free flow catalyst), HKS actuator, HKS filter, at 1bar.

JAM ECU worked exceptionaly for 20-30 miles, but then engine stalled with smell of unburned petrol. when intalled back the stock ECU everything worked fine again.
as noted above, mixture is very rich. i'm thinking if the stock fuel pump will settle the problem, or if the racing spec ECU is too much for my setup.

that is why i want to know the fuel pressure with Stock regulator & the whalbro i think it must be more than 3 bar ...

its the regulator that controls pressure so it don't matter wat kind of pump u have if u still have a standard regulator then ull still have std pressure
