The PFC F-CON is a plug-in fuel computer designed to supplement and refine the OE specified fuel curve. The F-CON performs their function by modifying the factory specific injector pulse width based on information obtained from the OE ECU and the absolute pressure transducer included with the F-CON. This information is compiled by the F-CON and the resulting signal can allow for a longer pulse width for factory injectors or it can take advantage of larger injectors to ensure proper air/fuel ratios during high air flow conditions. HKS includes with each appropriate F-CON kit a device known as a Fuel Cut Defencer (FCD). Several types of FCDs are made to raise the fuel cutoff point. This additional component allows the PFC to be effective at boost levels that would normally shut down the factory fuel system. The FCD, except in the case of Toyota's newer engines, should not be used without an F-CON or some type of supplemental fuel system because the FCD will adversely alter fuel delivery without the addition of supplemental systems. The F-CON is installed by simply plugging in the supplied factory quality wiring harness, mounting and plugging the pressure sensor, and plugging the FCD where applicable. The installation of the F-CON provides the owner the opportunity to return the vehicle to stock conditions by simply removing the unit and harness. While the F-CON is preprogrammed with a ROM for each application, there is a built-in adjustability switch accessible from within the F-CON to compensate for alterations to the HKS staged upgrades. Additional tuning for the F-CON can be performed by using the HKS Mixture Controller or the Graphic Control Computer II (GCC II). For more details on the GCC II see the VPC section in this catalog. The GCC II performs the same function on the VPC or the PFC F-CON.

i seen your photos you have everything there to set it up the harness is very handy and a fcd aswell

its a simple plug in job so i would leave it out until your at the tuners as if its on a wrong setting it could be lean/rich and could damage your engine

tbh i wouldnt use it unless you have a good few mods and need the pfc to sort out fueling ect for them

the pfc alone will have minimal gains on a standard engine but is no harm installing and getting tuned

i also recommend a gcc controller to get the most of your pfc

My car is already at the tuners up on axle stands :haha:. Thats the best thing about your mate being a tuner. Just have to pull th finger out and get the car together and push it up on the dyno and thats it. I'll be running a few mods alright hopefully around the 200bhp mark on either a K1 (if i get around to rebuilding it) or on a hybrid. Have a jam cast manifold, blitz decat, powerhouse DTM exhaust, 4e for now as the 5e wont be ready, walbro pump, sard rrfpr, and a boost controller
