Shit some of you not naming names (djep) Have spent a hell of alot my new one is going to cost me 3665 (cost of car)
1400 (Td04 kit)
Mapping session Dont know about 500
2000 (forged rebuild)

All within a few weeks of pickin it up (hopefully 2weeks away)

And alot more planned it will be an animal
Everything i wanted my current gt to be and more......

I love these lil cars people great.

Btw stock suspension is well bouncey plus some wet weather and a bar of boost well some of you saw my gt up the pod last year (jap show finale) No grill and dented bonnet god damn brands hatch!!!!

All good fun though.

so do these cars actually cost an earth to keep going?or if theyr relatvily standard do they keep going for ever,seems like you need some deep pockets lol

no no, running costs are minimal...but some unlucky few of us have had nightmares with rebuilds and issues

ahh ok reding this is sort of offputting.lol il be buyin my glanza in a couple of weeks,just looking at this made me think bloody hell its gonna be a never ending money eater.you all seem happy with your cars but thats rather expensive .lol

AS riko said, i personally if i was to do it again, would buy a completely stock car, and do all the bits and peices to it myself.

it might cost more and take longer to get to the desired spec, but it would definately be worth it.

on the other hand i dont think i will ever buy another turbo charged car again either, shame really cos i always wanted a skyline.

Not the case chap... Japanese owners are like us, some maintain them very well, some don't.

But I will agree with that! At the end of the day, it all depends on the quality of importer, and if they know how to spot the good from the bad...
