two questions here:
what's the allowable max oil pressure you can have when running your engine from stone cold temps..? i'm running 15w-40 and usually see around 4.5bar oil pressure on cold start (with ambient temps of about 18 deg C). this should only technically only allow you to rev until about 2.5k revs to stay around/under 5bar pressure. is 6bar still safe..?

also, i have removed all re-circulation plumbing and installed a catch-can on my setup so i know i'm not getting any blow-by from the crankcase getting fed back into my intake.. BUT, i still get oil mist in the hot-pipe to the TMIC. how much mist is normal and are the ct9s known to breathe some oil into the intake tract even when relatively new/rebuilt..?

I would say no more than 6bar.
All standard non BB turbos should mist a tiny bit of oil, if not then you should wonder if it is getting enough oil.
