just to let you all know that this does not work...
i work for the magistrates court so i no for definate.
If you send an overpayment in, the full payment will be returned to you and if the correct payment does not reach the fixed penalty office within 28 days the case goes to court almost certainly resulting in a higher fine and sometimes upto 6 points!!!
