How to 'dangle' the power steering pump :p

Basically, long story short, one of my turbo to manifold bolts has snapped so i'm going to just take the manifold/turbo/downpipe off in one. I just need to get the manifold bolt off that is behind the turbo and i'm done. I've tried attaching the hot pipe to the turbo in an attempt to rotate down some more but it didn't work. I was also suggested that i remove the power steering pump enough so it just dangles, allowing me to get to the bolt. How do i do this please? :)

Thanks !

I've taken the 3 bolts off which hold on the bracket and the long bolt which goes into the side of the pump. It has enabled me to wiggle the pump around but i still can't get it free? Is there more bolts i have to remove?

There's the main (long) bolt at the rear of the pump which holds it to the engine. Remove this (14mm spanner)

There's the adjuster on the front that holds tension on the belt. Remove the bolt (two 12mm spanners)

Now wind the bracket adjuster down. It's a long threaded 12mm bolt (long extension & ratchet)

Pull the pump up and away from the turbo area and cable tie out of the road.

Hope that helps,

Jay

There is also a bolt that holds the pump onto the bottom bracket, its on the wing side of the rounded part, just below where the top of the adjuster sits.
