i wanted on because theyre rare(around here) and cheap....every part of them is mint and i LOVE IT.....nothing bad about them....i think that modifiying it is to get it to my perfect taste....and i want it to be special not just a normal silver gt.....

Had mine up for sale as I wanted something else at the time but when no-one was interested (apart from chav's) I decided to use it as my University assignment. Took her off the road for almost a year and did everything my student loan and overdraft would allow.
Got a B+ for the work too. :)

I've loved modifying cars since day one, but I don't mean bodykits etc. When I first bought my car (Aged 15) it was midly modified and just needed tidying up abit, but then thought "Hmmm I think it needs a makeover" and look it now! Lol!!

People around here totally love my car, even the men aged around 40 ask me wow have you sprayed this yourself when they walk past on the street or something. But I try to keep it out of visability of people my age, I don't like jealousy!!

My gt was stock for a while as I tought it was pretty quick as is. Then the guys over here started really upgrading their colts and swifts and other car I would normally leave behind. Everyone was calling their cars a "GT Starlet Killer", so obviously I felt great frustration driving behind a swift gti at full throttle, watching it pull away from me ever so slowly and not being able to do anything about it. Then came the guys with the runxZ, vitz RS and RSturbo, ignis sports etc. That's when I decided no one will say my beloved GT was no longer good enough or it's outdated. Keep your vvti and vtec! My 16yr old 1300cc will no longer be ashamed when compared to the lastest models!

Its a nicer way to spend money rather than going to the pub every night and wasting it all away :p
It's rewarding when you add a new mod to you car :)
