what exactly is the process to change a ct9 to a hybrid?

sx_turbo Lifer Feb 21, 2008 #3 the housing gets bored out with a bigger compressor wheel, the garret compressor wheels are a very popular with the ct9 hybrids. the bearings in the ct9 cant be changed for ball bearing ones as the turbo is to small.
