Hybrid question

Champion! Would I get a proper tune with the old faithful SAFC/FCD/FPR? Or is that sort of boost a job for a good piggyback/stand alone?

Voice of experience Dave? How long could I honestly expect strock internals to last on 1.2bar?

Its not the boost pressure which is going to knacker your engine as long as the turbo is still efficent and not creating loads of heat, your HG isnt weak so it wont leak under the extra boost pressure and standard combustion pressure and you have correct fueling there wont be a problem.

Mine has been fine, I cracked a piston while running 1.2 bar but that was my fault not engine weakness.


With a good tune 1.2 bar is very achievable and reliable on a hybrid CT9.
