to a point yes, the above set up is the "cheap and cheerful" option. Obviously a piggy back or standalone of some kind would be better as you can get a better tune. I'd say it really depends on you're future plans. if you're planning big power then in all honesty I'd say wait, save for an emange or something.

engine advantages will set it up, for £150

and fit it yourself u lazy sod, its only a couple of wires :p

give me a month and i let you know how i get on with my setup

Yeah i know, but will it still be driveable if i fit it all myself? And i've heard bad things about Engine Advantages recently, might give them a ring and see what they say.

well engine advantages were good for me, i wasnt happy with them at first, but since i been taking my old car apart, i found out why my car was still hitting fuel cut lol, i wired the fcd in before the safc, when it should have been the other way round.

so it was my fault

oh and yes it will still be driveable if you fit it your self
