the turbo is identical to that mate, it's only covered 1000 miles at most since i bought it, and 700miles of that was a trip through french motorways.
the same ammount of dirt is on the compressor blades, the exhaust housing has been replaced for one without a crack in it, and is now a later type wastegate, and there is still minimal ammount of shaft play in it.
i'm struggling to get pics at the moment, and the turbo and manifold are off the car
my car has been off the road in the past 6 months than i've had roast dinners.

it's an old jd kit one, it's 2-3 years old, but only covered a little mileage

i made 157bhp@ the wheels @ 13 psi boost, with a blown head gasket, and intake temps that were through the roof because of my intercooler piping.
unfortunately i never got it tuned after i changed all the intercooler piping, and sorted the boost loss out, as i decided to change my plans

you would need a rising rate fuel pressure regulator aswell at least.
if you were to keep it at stock boost levels.
if you bought some engine management like an emanage blue or dastek unichip, and some 330cc injectors, a decat and a front mounted intercooler, up the boost to 1bar or 1.2 bar, you will be seeing close if not more than 200bhp at the flywheel
