Idle Problem

hi all,

Since i got my gt back having forged engine its idle nicely at 1200rpm and sounded meaty but the other day its started to idle at 1000rpm and sound not as meaty and the idle twitches a little bit. but it drives fine and boost fine.

The idle control got changed tonight and still no luck so stumped :confused:

any help would be great.

What injectors you running mate? 1200 is quite high unless your running big injectors and wild cams.
Does it kind of like shake at 1000? Check for vac leaks mate.

1200rpm is to high, it might be the ecu pulling back the timing,

also different weather conditions affect the starlet idle, also check your tps is working.

what ecu are you running by the way, i have assumed standard ecu

The injectors are 440 I think maybe smaller had the car back for a few months and it's been fine it idles between 1100 and 1200.

Got a emu mate

Can post a video tonight showing the idle
