Thats pretty poor advice right there. Try your luck and if you cant get insure on a glanza or a GT then just wait. If you were to crash in a glanza/GT (and it was your fault) which is down on insurance as a 1.3 starlet your insurance is void. You will probably lose your licence and you or your parents will be sued for damages.

I was 17 on a provisional when i bought my glanza, gave quinn a call but they wouldnt insure me, so i insured it as a 1.3, but that didnt last long as the law where on my back straight away.. so i then had a choice sell or chance my arm by calling quinn. Anyway i called them up and said i discovered my car had a turbo and it was a glanza v import. all I had to pay was a 200euro transfer fee. got a decent renewal the year after aswell and im still driving my glanza. even passed my drivers test first time in it.:beer:
But yeah to answere your question if i was able to get insured you should be entitled to aswell.

I dont even want to think what would of happend mate. was goig to sell the car if i couldnt get insured correctly.

Was 18 when i started driving a punto quote was 1600 drove that for six months bought a glanza and transfered insurance over went up to 1700 still only prov. . .Insured properly

got my renewal today, 1020 euros,only went down abt 60 euros,a bit pissed off with it tbh.
mods declared? My renewals comin through soon, was 1290, my broker said it might go as low as 800 now that im 21...:rockon: reamins to be seen though!
