i haven't studied the fuel tank and its associated plumbing too keenly but i would like to imagine that i'm a little right in my line of thought regarding brimming your tank. assuming you are on flat ground.. when you full up to the brim (literally), doesn't the fuel follow the vent line (that goes to the charcoal canister) since, according to physics 101.. any liquid tries to get to a level center of equilibrium before it settles. i'm guessing the vent line that returns to the charcoal canister feeds off the top of the tank but when brimmed, the fuel will be everywhere as the tank feed sprout is higher than the top of the tank itself, including this (vent) line..
so, can someone tell me if brimming the tank has any adverse negative effects..?
