Is it worth building a 5EFTE?

I'd say alot more than 100hp, the faster you go the less time you have to make use of the extra power, odd situation lol.

Alot of fellas are expecting mine to do 9s, to be honest I don't think it will, maybe a 10.2 or something.

10.2hmmm interesting come on lad there civics burstings out 8s all day long .,have some faith would ya:)if you can't do it browner will lol even with his bonded up door :)

the only cost for me to try for a 9 is tweak the map!!! wouldnt need any other parts or that providen box doesnt shit itself.lol

A lot of stories between using his cams to using his 5e were does it end lol.the ball bearing turbo are the job but there a lot of money well for me anyway :eek:

i wouldnt use any1s parts but my own you should no that lad.the day my car see's a 5e or any of its parts will be the day i die.LOL

if ya want a motorway car go for the 5e from 4th 5th gear ya will leave a 4e behind at the same power, all depends what ya wanna use the car for and what power your after

is it worth the extra cash to go 5E if you dont swim in money?
what would it take to get 4EFTE on 200WHP+- and 5EFTE on 200WHP+-

i think if i can get a 5E for cheap then it would be worth it but they go for $1000+- where i am.
what about a 4EFTE with custom intake manifold and headwork? mani like i think it is jezza on the AUStarlet club
i dont want that instant break your neck boost witch i had.
and i think a more rev happy engine would be the better option? losing a little bit of power compared to 5E?

what would the WHP+- be when using GT2860 on +-11/12PSI with 5EFTE and then also 4EFTE?
and lets say how would it look when having a 800M or 1/2 mile race with identical car/driver with these two engines?
my car is 860KG+-

the comparrison between 2ETE and 3ETE makes me wonder
can one use it as a guide line to compare 4EFTE with 5EFTE?

My general experiences with 4E and 5E is if you run the same kit on each car, the 5E will make about 30hp@fly more. Thats a rough guide some will make more and some will make less.

So both cars identical the 5E will pull forward more. The more square and revvy nature of a 4E will only matter if you want to rev at 9000rpm and above. Which to the best of my knowledge no one has really tested a 4E and 5E at 9000rpm.

apparently a rule of thumb is: if a n/a engine makes 90bhp at atmospheric pressue then at 1 bar of boost, the power should double

so what power does a 4efe make and what does a 5efe make?

for me a 5e makes more sense as a good all rounder,trackdays,genral day to day driveing
