Is there different types of ct9 turbos I know there is a ct9a and b but would one off a different car altogether fit

yes and no.

you can make them fit, but there are subtle differences which can make them a ballache to fit.

Possibly best to leave the diesel ones out of your search, as Duncan mentions they can be a pain in the hole to rotate/modify.

If you can get one out of a Glanza V it'll spool a little better than the earlier GT version.

Ok cheers guys does anyone know anything about the toyosports one that is available to be fair I am after a quick fix so I don't arrive everywhere in a cloud of smoke

So do I, but you still need to rotate it, swap the compressor housing over and the wastegate flap arm is slightly different.

The toyosports one will be fine, but if you have the standard intake, it won't fit without modifying.

Alright cheers not running the standard intake so may just go with the toyosports one for the quick fix
