Cal, how is a b16 a "massive job" in a Mini? I've already stated in two posts that you can buy a kit that makes it a bolt in job. All you need to do is sort the brakes out and get it running.

As for Vauxhall lumps, don't bother. They're heavy as hell and you have to extend the front end of the car 3" to get it to fit, spoiling the look of it.

CaL : You spout so much rubbish some (all?) the time. You've yet to contribute anything of use (that i've seen) in your entire time here.

nope

vauxhall lumps arent to bad as there aluminium.

also there is a company (i forget there name) who now do a bolt on kit to fit it with out having to extend.

any things possible, just gotta have patience ;)

although i would love to have a go in any mini with any of the engines mentioned

lol true.

i think go for it neway if your really think youll keep the mini for a long time, but itll be alot of work for a car that you might not want to keep for a while!

a vtec mini would scare alota bigger cars neway

Have a little look on this web site http://www.16vminishop.co.uk/ they sell everything you'll need to get a V-tec in your mini, and also dont go for 13" wheels, go for a wide set off 10's thats what all the miglia mini's use, there not cheap but there worth it!!!

yeh iv been in there its ace! but thats where i got the price from for the subframe. i thinking also of the flipfront they have on there, because i have a bit of rust under the crome bumper at the front and also abit of paint flake on the top left and right wing.
