I assume because the mixure has become less dense due to air cut off, meaning theres a slower or poorer burn. So the fuel that remains un-burnt is ignited by the heat of the exhaust.

Something along those lines.

yea that was andrew (enright82), http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/showthread.php?t=13142
it made 147.9bhp running 1.17 bar @ 6600rpm on standard ct9 in 3rd, but im sure that dyno wasnt reading anywhere near accuratly! my guessing would be its nearer 175 - 180.

yay someone saw me on the rollers :) was a bit dissapointed with the figure considering the cash monies iv spent on the bugger

i was chasing that flaming s14 around the track nearly had him to but ran out of time.every bend flames shot out.didnt want to over take incase my car caught on fire:p

I was watching it when it was being done, and then i saw everyones face when the priintout came out..... I thought it would have been more than 147 aswell. Cheers mate. :D

That was probably me watching mate. :p i was interested to see what it was producing. Nice Gt you got there. Are you going to get it re-rolling roaded to see if there was a clear mistake??
Did you see that AC Cobra that rolled in shortly after. Was loud!! lol.
