Just been intentionally rammed

I would go to the police station and say that you want to report a hit&run or he failed to stop at the scene of an accident, which is also illegal. If he did stop, he HAS to give you full name, address, insurance company. I have enquired about the address thing before when I had an accident, and I was told by the police that they have to legally give you all the relevent information, address being one of them.

Your local police sound like complete wan***s, they shouldn't have given him your details.

The police officer has now given the farmer (who threatened me then rammed my car intentionally) my name and address. If he comes anywhere near my car or house, I swear I will use ANY force I feel necessary to protect myself and my property.

He also said if I take this any further, he will do me for driving without due care and attention.

I am now sure that the farmer and police officer are friends and are trying to scare me so that I don't do anything about it - but I am not letting these c*nts win and I will take it as far as I have to.

I Would also now put a formal complaint in against the officer you spoke with on the day for passing your details out to his mate, not logging the accident on the date as he should and threating you as he cannot get you done for driving without due care and attention as he wasnt there to witness the accident has no proof and you were stationary.

Scare tactics is right probably friend/family of his that has told him he was in the wrong now there trying to get you to just back down, id go all in mate, dont call your insurance company call his, report the claim they will log it as a third party report then they will chase them for comments, and if he tells them the stupid story youve said they told the police about you reversing at speed overtaking in reverse ect they will just probably deal with your claim.

Deffo log complaint failure to stop/failure to provide insurance details/complaint against copper

When I speak to the duty seargeant at Cambridge police station later today, I will make it clear that the officer dealing with the case seems to have a personal relationship with the farmer and so it is a conflict of interest - I will also tell him about the officer threatening me with false charges, giving my details to a psycho, allowing the farmer to leave the scene of the accident without a word, etc.

I have just thought of a few more points in my favour though:
- if i stopped as quickly as farmer says, where are the skidmarks?
- if he was telling the truth, when I reversed past him, I have to stop at some point and at the "high speed" i was apparently reversing, its not going to be instant.
- the pattern of glass is off the side of the road and going AWAY from the road which means he was aiming OFF the road into my car.

You need to social engineer the Police Officer too, find out his full name, go on Facebook and check out his friends, see if he's mates with the farmer. ;)

Print screen if he is and post it up here. :p

To be fair I've only been pulled over a *few* hundred times with no good reason - why should they put the doughnuts down and actually do some real police work? It's not like its their job or anything.........

A&E say my injury is just a sprained shoulder muscle after wasting nearly 3 hours of my life there.

Has anybody had a good experience with any "No Win No Fee" lawyers? I want to see if I can make a claim for the shoulder/neck injury because its getting more painful and the psycho farmer asswipe shouldnt get away with it....

I think I might need more help than a Accident Lawyer - I need someone to:
- reclaim the FULL costs of restoring my car to how it was before the accident.
- prosecute the farmer for dangerous driving, assault, hit and run, etc, etc
- preferably get money for my neck/shoulder injury. I have also started getting pain in my right side today.
- preferably get the copper done for obstructing justice and threatening false allegations.

The insurance company (Admiral) SHOULD do all this for me but they are as much use as a fart in a space suit......

Don't get the insurance company to do it for you, get your own solicitor to do it and he'll get paid by either your own company or the other fella's. Don't forget he might be insured by the same people in which case they won't be chasing anything up.

Different insurance companies. I am speaking to a Police Seargeant later today and will see what he says before I contact any solicitors.

They're as useful as a chocolate teapot. I gave them all the details the day it happened and they admit they haven't even contacted the other insurance yet!

Thanks mate - I'll give them a call.

I'm not sure about the witness thing - I like the idea but I'm going the honest route at the moment. After all, I've done nothing wrong (except call the farmer a c*nt, which is rather unfair to c*nts I'll admit).

Will put the pics of the damage up on my lunchbreak. It's not a huge amount of damage but if the Insurance company were to replace the damaged parts with new, it would easily cost several thousand. Just imagine the cost of a new Quad-light, wing, indicator, bonnet, bumper, grille and 2 crash bars straight from Toyota, plus labour plus paint....

Sounds good mate - I'll give them a call. Hopefully they'll give me something nice.

I assume that If I win, they will be paid by the farmer's insurance. But if I don't win - what happens? Will I have to pay them?

Thanks

Yeah hopefully he will at least lose his licence - theres no way psychos who drive like that should ever be allowed on the road again!!!
