whats the torque settings for head bolts??

38 ft lb then 90 degree turn???

also where is the best place to get replacement toyota or camskill?? thanks

ahaa luckily i removed the head and the bolt was sticking out still so i just removed it with my hands :p

thats why i aint absolutely going mental :)

Cylinder head bolt:
First 36ftlb
Second - turn 90 degrees in same sequence

run a tap down all the head bolt holes in the block, and put a little engine oil on the new head stud threads if they havent come soaked in oil already.

You need to divide the nm to 1.356 and the result will be your settings to ft/lbs
Means 22nm /1.356 = ft lbs
44 nm / 1.356 = ft lbs
Then 90 degrees. Use engine oil on the bolts.

How did you manage to snap a bolt, by putting obviously more than 36 ft/lbs of pressure on it, then loosen it by hand?

Once it snaps there will be no load on the threads so they can come straight out. I've been lucky enough for that to happen, not on head bolts though.
