lamda sensor for afr gauge

just bought an inovate wideband gauge. is it possible to use existing lamda bung? or do i have to get another bung welding in?

Youll have to get a new one welded in anyway.
Youll need to keep the normal sensor for closed-loop running.

you dont really need the stock lambda sensor....if youve got a decent ecu aswell (think you have) you can use the innovate in conjunction with it, without the standard one i would suspect.

The standard lambda probe bung is too close to the turbo. Putting a wideband there will kill it quickly as they don't like heat, vibration or too much fuel (perfect probe for an exhaust don't you think? :haha:)

Get it welded in the exhaust about back of the gearbox. Handy to get the wiring to as well.

thanks Jay as im doing mine soon, as i've just recieved my AEM wideband too today :) So the best place to weld it on is after the g'box!?
