Lights question

My driverside fog has stopped working for about a week now and haven't got round to fixing it (loose wire not bulb I think) but tonight I noticed that my driverside headlight doesn't work.

Sidelights and full beams are working fine on both sides just driverside headlight and fog gone. Pretty clueless with electrics..any ideas?

change the bulb first, then go from there. chances are its just coincidence that both have gone quite close to each other. you could try swapping the bulbs round in the lights to prove its the bulb gone, wont cost you anything then :)

As Duncan says, it's probably unrelated just check the bulbs first and go from there mate.

When you remove the fog light bulb, check the metal surface inside the light that the bulb rests against is not corroded. This can cause a bad earth circuit and make it not work. A rub with some emery paper to clean it up and a smear of vaseline on the metal surface should clear it up.

Cheers for the help guys but when I got into the car this morning to drive to work I checked if my headlights were working and both were fine..it's just like my f**cking interior light..it seems to pick and choose when it works! Can't have a look until the weekend but I will let you know..I'm a bit stumped because they were working today like

Cheers, actually was just a foglight bulb gone. Still no clue what happened to the headlights but they seem to be back to normal now!
