Hi, I read a few threads about different batteries and could only find one code which was 055 with the positive on the left..
most other jokers say they just went to halfrauds and got them to exchange it with the cheapest one !! (probably about 70quid)
so I got to emailing a guy on eBay selling this battery http://www.battery2u.co.uk/type-055-varta-car-batteries-A15-blue.aspx its a varta blue 055 a15
looks like a good honest fit, and the guy said its not listed in any of his books as being for a starlet .. so I guess he just doesn't have the data on the starlet.. I have seen a few people using the 055 battery.
if you could all list your battery codes we could get an idea of what fits and what doesn't fit for future reference, kinda like the compatible injector thread, but for batteries.
