Desperate times call for desperate measures, you could get a paper round which would provide peanut money but if you bought realy budget things you could eat at least.

I am not having a go but your moaning on here when you could be looking for a job, asking builders have they got any labouring work etc even cleaning theres always cleaning jobs about, again paying peanuts but every little helps.

I was a delivery driver until i wrote my car off. That meant i lost my job instantly, no warning at all. I was pulling in £350 a week, at 18- just for driving around with my mates, dropping off pizza/sandwhiches/chineses etc.

My problem is 99% of jobs say "MUST HAVE EXPERIANCE" the only thing i'm experianced in is delivery driving. If i had a car, i can garuntee i'd have a job by 6pm tonight. Absolutly 100%.

I'm not unemployed for a laugh.

Lets stop immigration and throw out all the foreign workers and who is going to do the jobs??

Despite what you may think a huge amount of foreigners actually work and wheather you like it or not that keeps the cogs of your country and most others turning.

Simple FACT is that without foreign workers coming to developed countries the countries do not have the manpower and skillsets required to grow their economy.

Once again it is SO easy to look at all of the issues your country has and blame it on the people who are coming there. Get all the able bodied off the dole queues... I bet they are not cheap to maintain.

What makes you think i'm not looking? Its what i spend 90% of my time doing. Okay, i'd love a good job with 30,000 a year but no fucking chance. If someone offered me a job stacking shelfs in tesco/asda etc i'd bite their arm off.

'no...sorry mate.. stop back pedalling. You said a lot more than that and I didnt have time to quote everything you said. The jist of what you are saying is dont allow foreigners in cause they are sponges.

Feel free to correct that if I am wrong. Also feel free to explain how your system that does not allow foreign workers into the country would allow growth and expansion of your countires economy, Id love to hear your ideas on that. Or do you think closing the doors to immigrants has no effect on the economy only a positive one??

From what i can see every one agrees but cant get their points across correctly.

1: We all hate spongers. (people who claim benefits becuas ethey are lazy, not incapacitated)
2: We all hate immigrants who come here to exploit our service's but dont mind those that work hard and make an honest living and contribution.
3: We all hate people with terrible body odour on public transport. (i have made an assumption here)

So lets all agree and move on, becuase were not gonna change anything here. In the end, everyones entitled to their own opinions and views. If someone believe's immigrants are the sole reason why this country is falling apart dont have a go at them, call them racist or laugh at them, give them your point as to why that is not the case and let them come to their own conclusions.

My opionion is that we obviously have an immigration problem and an illiegal immigrant problem. Why? because our border controls our under staffed, we have an inadeqaute immigration system and our governemnt is like a bunch of monkeys at the moment. Couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery. Wish i was prime minister :(

im sure your local high street bars will have jobs going, im sure your local mcdonalds will do. or is it just that you dont want those sort of jobs. I worked at a wetherspoons on the high street to tide me over for a while and hated every second but would rather that than not work.

again thats my opinion, dont take it as an insult.

How would you live? Must be nice being in a position where you're Mum can afford to bail you out if you lose you're job. Thats the only other way I can see you getting money.

I was out of work for almost a year before. I was entitled to sign on but didnt. I went out on a building site and broke my bollix every day for the worst money ive ever earned. I took no handouts. Some people have a strong work ethic and some dont. And anyone that claims not to be able to get work is not looking. Sorry guys there are mountains of jobs out there but people dont walk up to your door and offer them to you, you ha ve to go looking for them

I have a stack of jobs here that i've called this morning.
Petrol station attendant
Car valeter
Second hand car sales
Ferry un-loader

I'm hardly looking for my dream job.

and also i would find work anywhere to see me through until i found something more permanent. Im on the books with a temp company just incase anyway.

Thats fair enough, you're fortunate that you've had a job where you could put money aside each month and clever enough to do so. But people that earn enough to just make ends meet won't have had that chance and won't have that to fall back on.
