i'm using scat rods also.


well me and dave will carry on banging our heads together see if we can sort it out,

in the mean time if you can keep me posted on yours, or if you have any other thoughts or the twins have any other thoughts, could you let me know please

it wont help mate

you can go to 10w50 or 10w60, but honestly, thats purely for track use, on a road car it is way to thick, and will cause more damage.

the cold viscosity is ok, but when it gets hot there seems to be a problem.

Get that decent gauge fitted Ricky and we'll go from there. If the problem persists we will replace the oil pump and pressure relief valve FOC and see if that cures it. Whatever happens it will be sorted mate, sorry for the worry this is giving you.

it's one of them things dave to be honest.

only really brought this thread back as this problem is identical to mine.

and i know you said whatever happens it'll get sorted.

but i thought ian knew what the problem was with his and could possily point in the right direction thats all.

oil pressure 0 psi

hi glanza v engine if idle speed cold first start 50 psi, but normal tempeture idle speed pressure 0 psi, hot 3k rpm sametimes 22 psi - 43psi what is problem? what do you are think? thanks for help friends..
