We all have a preference for EP91 or EP82 or EP85 etc etc... what if you could have the best from all of them?

What bits would you take from which car and put together to make your ultimate EP?

Would you take the seats from the EP82 or do you prefer the seats from the late model EP91?

Would you take the steering wheel from the early Glanza or the later Glanza?

What about the styling, maybe a KP?

What parts would make the ultimate Starlet?

Take a mk1 GT and add mk3 GT suspension. That should do me nicely.

Take your V and shove it where the sun don't spool lol..

EP85 chassis and running gear, keeping the rear drums as they give no bother at all, Glanza interior plastics and electrics, EP82 Recaro interior, MK1 front bumper, rear glow badge boot lid and EP82 standard engine if I wasnt allowed mods.

I think for me it would be

KP running gear - bit of sideways fun
Glanza 98+ body
EP82 GTT instrument cluster (just prefer it)
Glanza 98+ seats
Glanza 98+ steering wheel
Rear Glow badge (love it)
EP 82 GTT double exhaust
EP82 engine
Glanza CT9b(extra fin makes all the difference :p )
Gearbox - ??? were the ratios much different? if so what would be better?
ECU - ??? which was better or was there much of a difference?

I would probably take a Glanza V 98+ like I've got, but put ep95 all wheel drive in it, but get a better gearbox. Put EP82 engine in it as they're more reliable. Get full recaro interior and a roll cage, also factory TRD coilovers. Ct9b probably would be a bit better than the GT one, ECU I believe would be better on 98+ models as during that time was a massive jump in IT development - remember windows 95 and 98? and don't know about the ECU but I think probably the Glanza one would have faster CPU then the GT one.

In My opinion the steering wheel on 98+ is pretty decent, seats are ok as well. Agree with GV1.3 on many points here -)

Jay seem to hate V, well they look good, but not as reliable as GT's for sure!

The EP9* chassis is to soft and heavy for me, EP8* is a much better chassis. I do like some of the Glanza looks but, a bit more modern and sleek.

a standard mk1 gt,1990 spec, with recaro interior, rear glow panel, and the cool boost lights in the dash.

i dont know why,but out of all the starlets ive ever driven,mk1s always seemed the fastest,i remember talking to trevor about it once and he agreed!

On that note and a bit off topic, has there ever been crash test reports done on the EPs?

Glanza is heavier - also the doors are heavier, not to mention the ABS - which saved my life in snow many times -)))) I will say that again - I will NOT drive a car in snow ever with no ABS - done that and regret about it, good job I knew that how to pump the pedal -)

parts won't match up at all but i'd go for an "ep75"

so a 4wd ep7 5efte with the ep82 seats.

and another little dreamcar i will hopefully be building is a kp61 with 13btt engine (hope to start sometime nxt year)
