took me about a week mate, best thing to do is as in pictures, take all the bits you can off, and then it just leaves you with dorrs, quarters and roof, and boot.

just a note mate i herd you mention celulose paint and primer, personally i would stay well away i sprayed my bonnet with celulose gloss black and personally i think the paint is crap! it looked mint at first but within a few weeks it was stone chipped to hell, it doesnt seem like a very hard paint atall, i have since used 2 pack paint with no problems what so ever! my mate has a mk1 gt sprayed matte black and only cost him £35 for all the paint so pretty cheap for a respray if you ask me!

not really mate sorry, erm just practice spraying with the rattlecans on something other than your car, if you aint done it before, but to be honest it would take a retard to make too much of a mess of it, if your using a proper spraygun etc then you most likely have a clue what your doing so cant go wrong, main thing is DO NOT get too close with them.

Hmm not im not too sure what to do but then i guess i probably don't really need primer as the paint thats on there when smoothed down can act as a primer right?

Yeah going to use one of the two spray guns i have, I use to spray Lights at my old job so know enough about not getting close with runs and stuff, dad use to be a spray painter so im sure he can help too!

any idea how much paint i'll need?

i used rattlecans, and i used about 20 500ml cans altogerther to get a good few layers everywhere, not sure how this translates though in using a spragun, guess there would be a lot less waste etc.

cheers buddy 20 500ml cans isnt bad at all tbh, will see how much cans/paints and thinners work out and go from there, you got a pretty decent finish tbh
