Item for sale: 1994 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo - EP82
Item Condition : Used, but very good!
Description:
Sadly for sale is my Toyota Starlet GT Turbo. I am selling as I am looking for a change. Something 4WD or RWD.
This car is A LOT of fun and as such I am in no rush to sell.
Description –
.M – Reg 1994 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo (EP82)
.Imported by Dickson’s of Perth from Japan Aug 2008 where I am 1st UK Owner
.Quadlight Model
.5 Speed Manual Gearbox (Unknown if LSD, grips very well)
.1300cc DOHC 16v Turbo (133bhp when standard)
.29k miles (Genuine with Japanese service history)
Although the car is very light (790kg) it is very sturdy and feels solid.
Since buying the car I have spent a lot of time and money on her (over £3000), with receipts to prove and boosted performance to roughly 200bhp. Massive difference over standard.
All tuning / work has been done by both myself and my friend who is a mechanic or SEDITAS Cars in Prestwick.
Parts uprated are –
Suspension / Chassis –
-Standard KYB Shocks with RS-R Super Down Springs (Very Stiff – Lowered 35mm)
-Standard Toyota 14 inch Black Alloys with Pirelli P6000 at the front and Yokohama at the rear.
-Spare 15 inch Black / Silver TSW Wheels with new tyres all round, covered 600 miles.
-Whiteline Rear Strut Brace
Brakes –
EBC Grooved / Drilled Discs at the Front
EBC Red stuff pads all round
Standard Discs at the rear.
Interior –
Motec Boost gauge and Pod
Engine / Performance –
Reconditioned CT9a Turbocharger
HKS Actuator set to 1Bar boost
BLITZ Decat Downpipe
Full Stainless Steel Custom Exhaust system by RMS Engineering 2.5” Bore
Custom Steel Mesh Twin Cone Air Filter -
Bailies Motorsport Dump Valve
Funky Power Front Mounted Intercooler
FSE Motorsport Fuel Pump
FSE Fuel Pressure Regulator with Fuel Rail and adaptor
Custom Oil Catch Can
Although the car has not been on a Rolling Road, going by other Starlets with a similar spec, it should be approximately 200bhp.
The car has always been ran on 10w40 Semi Synthetic Oil and been serviced regularly. Oil service every 4k miles.
It is religiously run on Shell 98 Ron or Tesco 99Ron Petrol.
This is a very quick little car. Insurance is cheap as is the running costs, it returns up to 100 miles to £10 of high octane fuel. Car has never missed a beat.
Bad Points –
Being completely honest I cannot think of many.
The front bumper was cut to accommodate the big intercooler and as such isn’t perfect, but if you wish a new bumper, something can be arranged no problem. See pictures.
The bonnet has been subject to stone chips as I have done a good bit of motorway driving due to work, again this can be sorted without a problem.
Price – Offers around £5000.
Cheers for looking!
