Mini Cooper S JCW

I sold our Glanza before Xmas as the MRs was using a BMW 328 I bought her.
Well she was a bit pissed off I sold her Glanza and tried every trick in the book to get me to buy her something similar, a Mini was her aim.
Well, Ive done it, and have to say its like a modern day Glanza. Its a bit girly and the Retro thing is ballox, but as a drive its brilliant.
Its a John Cooper works edition with 210bhp in dark purple with black stripes and black wheels.
Its a shame the one we got doesnt have a LSD (it was an option) because its just as undrivable as the Glanza's weve had in the snow and Ice.

2 cars prior to the starlet i had a 2002 cooper s, put the works seats in - lush, fitted fidenza flywheel, quaife lsd, bigger top mount, exhaust, manifold inc decat, port and polised head work, smaller pulleys, nos, ap racing brakes - was awesome - was around 270bhp with the nos - was chuffing quick!

mum has had copper S's for about 3 years running now and driven it millions of times,

I personally dont like it, Pretty cool car and that but jeez does it bore me, such a bland engine, power delivery is soo even you just wana sleep lol....

Good car though and can be chucked about pretty good..

Mate also had a cooper works and that to me didnt feel much quicker then the cooper S, a bit more but same power feel to the car....

Ha I was thinking exactely the same thing :haha:

I was stupid and blew 3 headgaskets in the space of 4 months - and it was getting to a point where head was goosed, so i flogged it for 9k - lost 11k on that car, i then bought an astra coupe (bertone) but that started to knock, so flogged that, then bought a fto, got bored of that, then bought the GT.
