k not sure on 33 then will retest! is there not two 31's on the table tho? 1 for map sensor an 1 for somethin else??

rite i tried diff ecu last nite wit no joy :(. so i phoed chris an he is quite confident it's a electrical fault which is a relief in a strange kinda way! so will leave it in his capable hands when he has time. chris is quiet confident that the fault is in the injector signalin wirin as cylinders 1 an 4 run off same signalin wire an 2 an 3 off the same but diff wire to 1 an 4. so if a break in the circuit was there she wud fire on 1 an 4 but constantly load 2 an 3 wit fuel as ecu wudn't be gettin a signal bk from injectors???

i wud lik to thank all who hav been tryin to sort my problem. hav a :beer: on me. jay wud eitha way anyways so you might aswell join him lmao

so finger crossed we sort the problem an my ep is bk to full health an i can continue my project :drive:
 
check your engine bay that the plug leads are secured in the clips properly where they come out from the dizzy cap to the plugs. If the leads are touching (or even close) to the enigine block / rocker cover then the power will jump to the engine leaving the plugs not getting enough power to them.

tried this mully no luck?

wud it be worth while havin a comp test done????? gasket cud well hav failed between these two cylinders if head was not skimmed correctly?????

i've been slightly swayed as to an electrical fault. as this prob has been there since build an gradually got worse to point off not firin?????

yea try a compression test and let us know:)

if map sensor code came up check connections to it plug, vaccum hose make sure no slits or anything in the pipe, also worth changing the map sensor from doner car but sounds like you got a bad connection, take the big harness plugs off and clean them out dry and then plug them in, if water went in the harness plugs could most likely shorted few things makin the ecu drop more fuel, id clean all plugs and them check as it may not be a part, i know this through experience on leavin the bonnet off outside the harness plugs had water in and made car run rich and misfiring,.... let me know how it goes m8

rite i've had aa comp test done an she's down on 2 an 3????
for every1's info i got car bk from build an it lasted abut 3 to 4 hrs due to a water pipe not fitted correctly an her runnin dry an cookin gasket an slightly warpin head? now i picked car up after new gasket an skim an all was fine apart from miss fire on boost but dizzy was broken so tho that was prob, new 1 fitted an avoided boostin to run engine in so once run in cranked up boost but still missin????

my guess is she's blown gasket between cylinders 2 an 3 but how???
1.head neva skimmed in first place?
2.?????? ect???

opinions plz????

was talkin 2 chris an he's not so sure still sort thinkin electrical but then why the comp loss?? theres not even the slightest sign of piston/ring failure even at that how'd it be possible wit not bein able to exceed 0.3 without it missin?????

retested as i was unsure of myself lol

Take the efi fuse out or take the king lead off and crank it over with a WOT until the pressure stabilises, probably around 3-4 seconds :)
